What ad styles are available, and what are their physical requirements?
Currently we offer the following ad formats: banners, buttons, rectangles, skyscrapers, pop-ups, text, and selected combinations of these. Preferred positions are also offered. Sponsored category and special pages and long-term commitments may use other styles and sizes upon approval. The ads may be static or animated, and in some cases flash or interactive.

What are the physical requirements for a text ad?
Text ads must use the standard Times New Roman size-3 browser typeface, and they are offered in three line lengths: 3-lines by 24 characters per line, 2-lines by 24 characters per line, and 1-line by 48 characters per line. The text may not use bold or italics for emphasis. Blue is the only color supported. No box or other outline is allowed around the text; no bars or lines across the top, bottom or sides; and no flash or on-off switching.

General Terms and Conditions
|
- All ad orders are accepted subject to the terms and provisions of the current rate card. Orders are accepted subject to change in rates, but current agreements with ads already online will be honored.
- All ads are subject to the approval of Harford Vista. Harford Vista reserves the right to reject advertising which it feels is not in keeping with the site's standards.
- The ad will run until the term or number of impressions contracted for has been delivered. Determination of the term or number of impressions delivered is solely the responsibility of Harford Vista. A top-rated site analysis program is used to assure accuracy and reliability in these matters.
- Advertiser and advertising agency or representative agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Harford Vista web site, its owners, employees, subcontractors, for hires and assigns from any and all liability for content (including text, illustrations, representations, sketches, maps, trademarks, labels or other copyrighted matter) of advertisements reproduced and displayed online, or the unauthorized use of any person's name or photograph or likeness arising from Harford Vista's reproduction and display of such advertisement persuant to the advertiser's order. Harford Vista reserves the right to reject, discontinue or omit any advertisement, advertising, or any part thereof at any time when it feels this provision is being violated. This right shall not be deemed to have been waived by acceptance or actual use of any advertising matter.
- Harford Vista's liability for any error shall not exceed the charge for the ad in question.
- Harford Vista assumes no liability for when an ad begins to be displayed online, or if for any reason it becomes necessary to omit an ad, or if Harford Vista is unavailable online for any reason.
- Any deliberate attempt to simulate Harford Vista's format is not permitted, and Harford Vista reserves the right to place the word "advertisement" in or with an ad which in Harford Vista's opinion resembles its editorial or graphics format.
- Ads offering prizes, or contests of any nature, are void where prohibited, and are subject to prior approval by Harford Vista. Coupons are generally not considered prizes or contests.
- All ads, except select page ads, are displayed throughout all pages of the Harford Vista site on a rotating basis. Select page ads appear only on the page contracted for. Select position ads appear only at the location contracted for. Separation of competitive ads cannot be guaranteed.
- All ad contracts require pre-payment for the agreed upon term unless prior arrangements have been made in writing with Harford Vista.
- Harford Vista does not advertise products, services or links to sites whose main offering or content is alcohol, tobacco, firearms or gambling. Harford Vista also does not advertise sites with services similar to Harford Vista, including other portals and their related sites and services.
- The following advertisements are expressly prohibited: those that would violate any applicable law, regulation or third party right; those encouraging illegal activity or racism; those that promote or utilize software or services designed to deliver unsolicited e-mail; those advertising any material, product and/or service related to astrology, psychics, pornography, or with links to these sites.
