- Anita C. Leight Estuary Center - Otter Point Creek Component
A research and education facility of the Reserve, which is located in the Otter Point Creek component of the Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve in Maryland. The Estuary Center is dedicated to increasing appreciation and understanding of estuaries. Located in Abingdon.

- Harford County Astronomical Society
The Harford County Astronomical Society was founded in 1970 and is affiliated with the Astronomical League. The Society offers a wide range of activities for persons with an interest in astronomy. These include numerous opportunities to view the planets, moon, and stars; weekly discussion groups; and monthly general membership meetings, often with a speaker on some aspect of astronomy.

- Havre de Grace Maritime Museum
A private not-for-profit educational institution dedicated to the collection, documentation, preservation and interpretation of the maritime skills and heritage of the lower Susquehanna River and upper Chesapeake Bay.

Education and conference center and technology business park. A technology resource for education, training, conferences, office and manufacturing space.
- Historical Society of Harford County, Inc.
A private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the history of Harford County, Maryland, and its people. Organized in 1885, the Society motto is: "Preserving Our Past For Your Future."
- Jerusalem Mill and Village
The grist mill operated continuously from 1772 until the last miller died in 1961, when it was acquired by the state of Maryland. The mill now serves as both a museum and visitor center, as well as headquarters for Gunpowder Falls State Park. Located on the northeast bank of the Little Gunpowder Falls.

- North Harford Area Schools
All North Harford High School feeder schools (Dublin, Jarrettsville, Norrisville, North Harford, North Bend & North Harford Middle) in 1999 were recognized by the Governor for showing significant improvement on the MSPAP test. Norrisville Elementary, North Harford Elementary, Jarrettsville Elementary, and North Harford Middle School also won monetary awards.
- Rage Box Contemporary Dance Center
Under the direction and ownership of Karen Muccioli, a locally and nationally known dance educator for the past 24 years, the Center teaches hip hop, jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary modern, as well as adult classes and classes for pre-school children. - Red Dragon Ju-Jitsu
Offer training in traditional Ju-Jitsu, the art of self-defense, and Ken-Jutsu, the art of Japanese swordsmanship. Located on Rt. 40 near Havre de Grace.
- Steppingstone Museum
A private not-for-profit museum which preserves and demonstrates the rural arts and crafts of the 1880-1920 period in Harford County. Located in Susquehanna State Park near Havre de Grace.
- West Nottingham Academy
A college prep school dedicated to the intellectual and spiritual growth of its students. Said to be the oldest boarding school in America. In 1744, Samuel Finley, a young Presbyterian minister from Ireland, established a school there. Two graduates, Benjamin Rush and Richard Stockton, signed the Declaration of Independence. Today it enrolls boys and girls, including day and boarding students, in grades 6-12. Located on 140 acres at the head of the Chesapeake Bay in Colora.
