We have never seen so much activity on the Real Estate page before. There were 2-3 times more page views this month than normal. Half of the Top 20 were Real Estate sites. There were seven more RE sites waiting just outside the list; that's 17 out of 27. When local apartment landlords jack up their rents in lockstep to the level where renters can own a townhouse for less, what can you expect? We predict a really strong housing market this year. Apartment landlords are already advertising heavily. We don't think it will help. Even with all this Real Estate activity, the Retail category did well, with 4 of the top 5. Hecht's led the Retail parade, followed by C-Mart Discount Warehouse, Glen-Echo Furniture, and Bedroom Factory Outlet; at number 10 was BJ's Warehouse. Three Health and Fitness sites tagged along; there were no Auto sites. Maybe the housing market is going to lead us out of this long recession.
