We thought Retail sites would be stronger this month. But only four out of the Top 20 most active sites in November were Retail sites. Glen-Echo was number 1, and Bedroom Factory Outlet was number 2. Hechts was number 6, and Grimmels number 15. Real Estate led all categories in total numbers with seven sites. The most active in this category was Century 21 Diana, number 3. The Auto/Trans category, with six sites, had the second best representation. Jones Junction, number 5, led this category. Two fresh faces were Flagship Cinemas - actually, their current movie listings page - at number 7, and the Harford County Government web site - probably the Board of Elections vote count page - at number 10. All in all, a healthy mix of Real Estate and Auto sites, but a surprisingly lackluster Retail sector for the second straight month. Could this presage poor Christmas retail sales?
